We are as close to nuclear war today as we were in October 1962, when Pres. Kennedy and Soviet Chairman Krushchev urgently opened back channel discussions to find an “exit ramp” from war. President Putin says he is open to negotiate an end to the war, but Zelensky, under enormous pressure from NATO War Hawks, refuses to speak to Putin. More evidence has emerged that NATO officials wanted this war, and intend to continue it. It is now up to citizens to demand a move to an exit.
