US midterms
Ballots are being tallied across the US and the results could have a dramatic effect on the political landscape as Republicans seek to wrest control of Congress from President Biden’s Democrats. Voters in the US are electing their representatives for Congress, as well as several governors. Exit polls show two of the top issues for voters were inflation and abortion. The latest numbers show the Republicans will likely take the House of Representatives. US voters have been choosing lawmakers for the entire House. So far, 167 out of the 435 seats have gone to the Democrats, and 197 to the Republicans.
