News Corp columnist David Penberthy says he thinks many Australians regard the Prime Minister as “expendable”.
“The bigger danger is that he hasn’t looked like a strong leader, and he hasn’t been able to look like a strong leader because the states have been calling the shots,” Mr Penberthy told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“I think a lot of people regard him as expendable, you know, it’s not like people would sort of rally the troops in fear of losing someone like a John Howard or a Bob Hawke.
