Russia Advances in the Donbass Region
Russia is making advances in the Donbass region weeks after the retreat from South Ukraine’s Kherson. The Russian Defence Ministry has claimed that its forces bombed a platoon of U.S-made M777 Howitzers, downed a Su-57 warplane and ‘liberated’ Andreyevka settlement near Donetsk. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has rebuked Elon Musk for his peace plan and asked him to visit Ukraine to see the war damages inflicted by Russia. Moscow has warned the West over the Russian oil price cap and said that they would not provide oil to any country implementing West’s proposal.
