US-made smart bombs provided to Ukraine in the war against Russia seem to be falling victim to Russian signal jamming. According to the leaked Pentagon documents, Russian jamming causes American smart bombs to miss their targets and even fail to detonate in some cases. In December last year, the Pentagon began sending Kyiv advanced equipment that could convert unguided air-dropped munitions into precision-guided “smart bombs” that can hit Russian targets with a higher degree of accuracy. However, the weapons experienced higher-than-expected dud rates, as per the leaked document. Watch this video to know more.
