Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says Scott Morrison tied the Antarctica funding announcement to Australia’s national security.
Mr Morrison earlier announced $804 million in funding to strengthen Australia’s presence in Antarctica.
“And as he continues to weaponise the threat of China and national security against the opposition ahead of the looming federal election, Mr Morrison directly tied the announcement to national security,” Mr Clennell said.
