Typhoon Nanmadol
One of the worst typhoons in Japanese history hit the island of Kyushu. Typhoon Nanmadol made landfall near the city of Kagoshima on Sunday morning. The wind speed was at least 180 km/h. In some areas, 500 mm of rain fell on Sunday.
