The Israeli government has called for the defunding of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, which is responsible for bringing humanitarian aid in to Gaza, based on unproven allegations that a tiny percentage of UNRWA members offered support to the October 7 attacks. In response a number of countries, including the United States and the U.K., have pulled the funding, despite the desperation faced by Gazans
