Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the official annual inflation rate ended 2021 at 3.5 per cent.
“For the quarter it was 1.3 per cent – that was much higher than was expected,” Mr Greenwood said.
“Australians know it – business knows it – prices are rising, and that spells higher inflation.
