The IDF says ground troops continue to raid Hamas sites across the Gaza Strip, killing several gunmen. Israeli forces reportedly stormed the town of Tammun, northeast of the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu meets US Secretary of State Antony Blinken in Jerusalem to discuss the war in Gaza. Blinken also travelled to Ramallah under heavy security to meet with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas on February 7. Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi criticised the presence of US troops in the Middle East. Israeli protestors continued to try and stop aid trucks from entering the Gaza Strip at the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) crossing.
