The US carried out a drone strike in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad that killed at least three Kataib Hezbollah members. Iraqi Security sources told ABC News that all entrances to “the Green Zone” were being closed, amid fears of a possible retaliation against US facilities in Iraq. Israeli PM Netanyahu rejected a ceasefire proposal by Hamas, saying victory was within reach and only total defeat of the group would ensure Israel’s security. Meanwhile, a Hamas delegation led by top official Khalil Al-Hayya would travel to Cairo on February 8 to pursue ceasefire talks with Egypt and Qatar.
