An extraordinary mayor, in extraordinarily difficult times.
This is what the media has been calling Kyiv’s mayor Vitali Klitschko.
Before becoming the mayor of Kyiv, Klitschko was a heavyweight boxing champion, and so was his brother, Wladimir Klitschko. They are both sons of a Soviet major general. Now they together run the capital city of Ukraine as the war rages on. But there is more to this mayor of Kyiv. His war of words with Ukraine’s President is not lost on anyone. Question is, is President Zelensky threatened by the Kyiv mayor or is his criticism of Klitschko fair?
