Russian sanctions

Here is how useless sanctions are: Bloomberg reports that the U.S. government is actually asking big banks to keep working with Russia so that the economy doesn’t collapse. Isn’t that an admission that sanctions are a decorative sham, only made to let politicians grandstand? I would say it is. Watch the banks basically admit that the government is letting them out of their “tough talk” sanctions as they let everyone else suffer.
