EU Plans More Sanctions on Russia

The European Union is in a huddle, once again. This time, in a bid to up its sanctions on Moscow following Vladimir Putin’s partial mobilization of the military and nuclear threats in Ukraine. European Commission Chief Ursula von der Leyen condemned Moscow for bringing in 300,000 armed personnel and organising a “sham referenda” in Russian-occupied Ukraine territories.
